Program Fee

 The program fee for the round the world flight is: $27,000 per pilot

 

TOTAL ESTIMATE COST FOR EVERYTHING : $27,000 PER PILOT (min. of 4 paying pilots w/one instructor). Cost will be higher with less than 4 paying pilot and the instructor. Pilots can log 55+ hours of multi/turbine time. 


This program will provide the following:

Aircraft and fuel from fuel pool (Current fuel pool rate per gallon is US$4.35)
Flight time to fly 23,000 statue miles (extra mileage will incur extra cost)
Pre-training in survival and how to fly in 3rd world countries
All ground and flight instruction for 30 days
All landing, handling, navigation, ATC and over flight permit fees
Presence of an WorldFlyer flight leader who will facilitate clearances, Immigration, refueling, flight planning, and
provide help with any difficulty that might arise
Tours and admission to all planned group sightseeing
All service charges and taxes
Hosting at functions
Customs expediting
Customs and Immigration forms (filled by WorldFlyers when possible)
Briefing prior to every flight covering all aspects of the flight
Bag and Souvenir shirt

Not Included in the program fee:

Visa fees, fines, tips, taxes on goods bought during your trip, airfare to and from Denver Colorado. If all parties wish to fly more than 23,000 statue miles there will be extra cost for aircraft, fuel and associated fees.  If the parties wish to spend more days sightseeing over the 30 days, there will be a $850 per day cost for the instructor time and lodging cost.

Lodging: 

Lodging is not provided in the program fee.  After several interested participants contacted us about having more choices in lodging, we decided to allow the participants to choose their lodging. This also lets the participants have more options on stop overs and destinations. 


Flight Crew requirements:

Private Pilot or better with a multi rating (instrument rating would be a plus).
(If you don't have your multi rating - we can help you get it in a couple of days). 
Current 3rd class medical or better.
Have had a flight review within the last 12 months.
Have flown at least 10 hours in the last 60 days.
 


Cost Comparison:

 

 

World Flyers: $26,000 - $520 cost per hour - (includes 50+ hours in a King Air, fuel, insurance, instructor, all flight related fees and you can bring a friend or spouse along for FREE.) 

 

Air Journey: $85,250 - $450 cost per hour -  (approx 190 hours around the world in AIRCRAFT THAT YOU SUPPLY.  Lodging and meals are included)

 

American Flying: $76,680 - $874 Cost per hour - (90 King Air hours but, not around the world and lodging is not included) 

 

APPP's: $19,500 - $975 cost per hour -  (10 simulator and 10 King Air hours, not around the world and lodging is not included)


Become a Round the World Flight Captain and fly around the world for FREE.


If you have your multi-engine instructor rating and you have flown as a paying participant a around the world flight, you can apply to be one of our Captains and repeat the flight several times if you like and pay only for your food.  You will also be paid $4,000 per trip as a Captain/Instructor.  We will on rare occasions pick someone that has not completed the around the world flight if they have ferry time over the Atlantic and/or Pacific Oceans and have at least 100 hours of turbine time in the make and model of aircraft we are currently using for our around the world flights - plus their MEI rating.

 

If you would like to be considered as an independent contract Captain, you are required to do the following: (any emails sent without the following will be deleted):

 

1. A detailed resume and a letter stating what you can bring to World Flyers.

 

2.  A copy of your Pilot License, medical and CURRENT Passport.

 

How to Apply to WorldFLyers:
 
If you wish to fly around the world and to confirm a spot on one of our flights you will need to do the following:
 
1. Fill out an Application
2. Send with the Application a deposit of $8,000 (fully refunded if you do not qualify)
3. A copy of all Pilot Licenses
4. A copy of your Pilot Medical Certificate
5. A color photo of your Passport page that shows your citizenship
6. An introduction letter about yourself and what you wish to accomplish with this flight, Please include all pilot flight times.
