WorldFlyers.org has launched their final fundraising project on Kickstarter.com for our around the world flight over the Earth's poles. Not only are we offering lots of great rewards to those who make a donation to this historic flight -- you won't want to miss the new video posted there!
Below is the link to the Kickstarter.com page about our documentary film project of the world record flight experience. You can make a donation of $10-$10,000 through Kickstarter and receive great rewards, based on the level of your donation. Our goal is to raise the last $55,000 needed to complete the flight and film the process. We are pleased to announce that we've already raised over $265,000 in cash and in-kind donations for the flight. But we still need funds for fuel, lodging and the cost of finishing the documentary.
If you are unfamiliar with the Kickstarter site, please note that you are only making a pledge at this time. If we don't get all of the $55,000 in pledges, then you are not expected to fulfill the pledge and your credit card won't be charged. So it is an all or none type of fundraising method; you can be a big part of our success both by pledging and by spreading the word about our Kickstarter page.
